VLAN Configuration Help

Mon Mar 02, 2015 3:40 am

I think I need a VLAN to accomplish what I need, but unsure how to configure using WebFig.
I have a Routerboard 750GL, WebFig v6.15

Port 2 is LAN with DHCP: 10.2.162.1
Port 3 is LAN with DHCP: 10.2.163.1
I need the gateway for each (10.2.163.254 & 10.2.162.254) to be accessible through another port - like port 5 or port 1.

I think I need VLAN on port 1 or port 5 to accomplish this, but have only manged to brick my routerboard when trying to configure. I have DHCP server working properly for each. But, unsure if I need to somehow add both DHCP servers to their own VLANs.

Any help much appreciated. I'd like to use WebFig, but will take command line at this point.

Thanks,
-Bill

Thanks, but the simple example is a bit different than what I'm trying to do. Attached is a picture of what I'm trying to accomplish. I need both vlans to talk to their gateway through another port (5 in this example) because there is a filter in between the the MikroTik and the Cisco that needs to filter based on subnet.
