Need help ch equipment

Mon May 25, 2015 8:49 am

Hello everyone,

I'm going to build a small wireless office network.
My topology (in attachment):

Room A: Router connects to ISP via ethernet. It also connetct to the router in Room B via wireless.
Routers in Rooms B,C,D are daisy-chained via ethernet.

Is it possible to make my Room B router to be a CAPsMAN and СAP simultaneously, routers in Rooms C,D to be CAPs, if all routers are RB951G-2HnD?

P.S. ethernet cables between rooms are as shown in attachment. There is no possibility to add any more cables.

Thanks!

You need wds between a and b to be able to keep both to act as access point simultaneously. For that you need to set virtual APs in addition to wds link. Why you need to make it more complicated by capsman?

Thanks for your reply.

Actually I wanted to implement capsman to simplify network management, but maybe it's really better with WDS only. I'll try it and report the results=)
