Greetings, fellow experts.
Here we have a recurrent problem with the hotspot at the hotel were I work, not happened in previous years.
With a little software of ours, at the front desk they print hotspot tickets with a random user and password, with a selected uptime limit. The maximum was set at one week.
This year we have several customers staying for more than one week. When its hotspot user runs out, they ask for another one, but... some of their devices never connect again to anywhere. Not even to our hotspot captive page. It's happening specially with laptops, but I think today's victim is an iPad.
For most cases we solved it by manually deleting the device entry at ip/hotspot/host list. Else, we manually put the MAC address at ip/hotspot/ip-binding to bypass the hotspot. In one concrete case (a laptop with Windows 7) none of these was enough.
Is it a common problem for RouterOS 6.27? (Same version for hotspot package)
Any workaround, aside from giving bigger uptime limits?
