SR5 sent deauth

Fri Sep 15, 2006 1:58 pm

I have a ptp link at 30 km with 2 rd532+sr5, and two 1.2 m dishes. Configured as ap-bridge and station wds to bridge all the traffic. The average signal of this link is -60 dbm, but when the signal comes to 73 I´ve got this message in log wireless info "wlan1:00:15:6D:xx:xx:xx, sent deauth" and the link goes down, Tx power is in default mode.
Any ideas on whats happening?

I think you have to post the entire log entry from the router.

But this not happens all the time, just sometimes when signal fall down, I have scanned the spectrum and nothing appears to be transmitting in this frequency. Can be periodic calibration o some parameters the responsable.

I think you have the shit Canopy Interferences.
Change the frequency to 5,2 or 5,3 or 5,7 or 5,8 ranges and enable Nstreme

The frequency is set at 5825 mhz and nstreme is enabled and polling is enabled too.
Any other suggestion will be great...

Hi,

Did you really try to change the frequency to 5210 5GHz without turbo and nstreme and after that enable nstreme. Polling enabled 3200 dynamic size.

Also you can try to replace cables and antenna equipment. That
... The average signal of this link is -60 dbm, but when the signal comes to 73 ...
looks like "dampness in the cables or connectors, pigtails, etc. or even antenna conveters...". Is the signal goes to 73 when it's rain and/or it's a gale.

regards,
C. G.

The issues comes with no rain, and it´s a sporadic problem, not always happen, the cables are good and connectors too. Maybe it is an interference of another link, when the propagation conditions are excellent. Opinions?

best regards friends.[/img]

did you try "frequency usage" and snooper snoop on your boxes?

Canopy is not detected by Snooper or some tool of Mikrotik...
I think this is your problem, try to change to another range, if you are in 5.7Ghz try to go to 5.2 or 5.3

Good luck!
