SFP+ ZR

Mon Jun 15, 2015 2:49 pm

Hello,

i need 10Gbit/s for an 80km long Link.
So, the Link should be made with Glass and also SFP+ - Modules with 1550nm ZR.

Have anyone made a link with SFP+ - Modules with this Range?
Whitchs modules?
Both Modules should be made in an CRS on SFP+2

best regards

Hi Christian,

Just wondering if you ever got a solution to this? I am looking for a solution at 45kms needing a minimum of 2Gbps, it seems to fall into the same boat as yours!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Sam,

soory, again an not going feature in MT, what was made for.....

We have 2 SFP-ZR Modules (1Gig) - over 65km only becomes ~50 MBit/s :-)
I think, the Problem is in the Data-Bus on MT Board to the Module-Cage.
We have 2 SFP+ 10Gig ZR Modules, there no link was comming up......
over 2,5 T€ for the black hole....

I can not understand why MT advertises SFP and SFP+, and you then that's not even a long distance can be bridged. That's just really the last! Definitely come back soon the answer "that's TCP, so that's just".

best regards
Christian

Google the SFP suppliers and you may find the SFP you need.
