We are trying to find a 2U reliable server that will run mikrotik well for cheap, were talking just routing for 20 servers on a 100MB uplink. Problem is I have had some big problems getting mikrotik installed on any motherboard that has scsi on it at all, even if its completly disabled.

My question is will mikrotik install on a Tyan Thunder LE-T (S2518)

It has a onboard Promise FastTrak100 IDE RAID controller
Dual-channel master mode
Support up to four Enhanced IDE devices
Support for UDMA 100/66/33 IDE drives
Supports IDE RAID levels 0, 1 and 0+1

Now, i know MT dosen't like IDE raid, or raid at all (for the life of me I will never understand this), but Im just looking for a good reliable rackmountable cheap server. Will this work, will it not? Where could I find such a solution. Please help.
