Graphing Port Traffic with Cacti?

Mon Apr 18, 2016 12:11 pm

Hi All,

I have setup Cacti in my network to graph data from my mikrotik such as memory and CPU usage and interface statistics, this is working really well.

What id like to do now that I cant seem to find any documentation on is; is it possible to graph traffic flowing through a firewall port?

I.e I want to graph how much traffic has come over port 80 or how much traffic has come down port 53 etc etc

Is this possible do within the mikrotik and then graph it out on cacti? Can any one assist with this?

an example of what id like to achieve is here, you can see this website is using a graph to display traffic over a certain port

http://www.speedguide.net/port.php?port=123

Thanks in advance

I think you even don't know that values in firewall because you check only new connection packets and then accepting established and related in the first rule...
