Am completely baffled by RouterOS and have a 951Ui-2HnD device (3.22 firmware version if that helps) and am trying to setup wireless on a different subnet (192.168.2.x) that can't talk to other subnets (i.e. my wired network subnet of 192.168.1.x) but can not get it to work. First the router wont assign IP addresses to the wireless clients and second the internet wont work through the wireless for some reason.

Under interfaces I have:

bridge1 Bridge
ether1-gateway Ethernet (the internet device 118.xxx.xxx.xxx)
ether2-master-local Ethernet (the wired subnet with 192.168.1.1 gateway)
ether3-slave-local Ethernet
ether4-slave-local Ethernet
ether5-slave-local Ethernet
wlan1 Wireless (Atheros AR9300)

What script/commands to I need to do to enabled a wireless subnet 192.168.2.x that will allow the internet where the router will assign ip addresses through dhcp only for the wireless clients (as the wired clients have their own DHCP server NOT on the Mikrotik router). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the bridge... You don't need it in this setup, create a dhcp server on wlan1 with specific subnet, make sure your clients on wifi get proper ip configuration, masquerade those subnets , make filter rules in forward for wifi subnet to forward only to ether1 and you will be fine.

Can you please outline the commands for all of that, trying to do it through the menu doesn't get it to work. I can't even get the dhcp to assign ips. The commands would be greatly appreciated.

Following this guide (https://xan-manning.co.uk/blog/creating ... -routeros6) I got DHCP to give me an internal IP address but the internet wont work. Any ideas?

Got it! In the Addresses part I needed to set the Address to 10.1.0.1/24 instead of 10.1.0.0/24 and then gateway of 10.1.0.1 for the DHCP server Gateway worked (along with my ISPs DNS server IPs for DNS Servers fields in DHCP). Thanks.
