Hotel Room Access Page

Tue Apr 19, 2016 11:16 pm

Hi all,

First post so go easy on me. I have tried to find threads on this matter but alas no luck.

I own a RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN, which is awesome I may add! I want to be able to have it in a hotel room that gives my other devices connected to it access to the internet without having to input the given username and password.

Essentially I have login credentials, but I can't always use them on varying devices so I wanted to connect them to the RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN, either wirelessly or wired and have the RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN act as a buffer between the outside world and my other equipment.

I was told this is possible, but I have no idea how to get it to work.

Many hotels. Limit the number of devices per login and charge extra.
So you may not get too far. We block NATed connections to be fair to
All paying guests.

In general you want bridge mode.

Will bridge mode not still require logging in on the devices connected downstream?

How would I go about getting my router to input the user/password?
