2 VRF's, overlapping networks

Thu May 05, 2016 1:56 pm

Hi,
Recently got question which confused me alot. Network A is on location 1, and network B is on location 2. If you want to move these 2 networks to same physical location it would be easy if address ranges are not overlapping. But, when bot networks are using same range ( lets say 192.168.88.0/24) you should put them in different VRF's. So far its clear to me. But in case you need to allow communication between these 2 VRF's, what you should do? I have searched the net, but its more and more confusing. I do not need any config, i just need opinions/ideas or this scenario is delusional and i should stop thinking about solution. Any idea is welcome.
TNX!

only way to comunicate between 2 subnets that is the same is to use nat. eg:

192.168.88.0/24 lan side - NAT - 1.1.1.1/29 wan side R1 - R2 1.1.1.2/29 wan side - NAT - 192.168.88.0/24
