I want to use two networks (internet and private WAN) via Wifi. My Apple Mac can only have one IP per interface (wifi or ethernet). I had used Ethernet for private WAN and Wifi for internet so long. inconvenient.
How do I setup my main RB so I can connect to internet as well as a private 172.16.x.x WAN via Wifi?
I have 3 Routers, two of them Routerboards (RB):
- Internet Router with wifi. DHCP server active. 192.168.178.x tange IP 192.168.178.1
- RB 6.24 antenna with private wireless WAN on 172.16.x.x range. I have 5 fixed IP addresses assigned. No DHCP. It has a local 192.168.178.3 address on ethernet.
- new main RB 6.24 which should connect all of them and act as a Wifi router.
Internet Router is connected to Ether1, RB antenna to Ether10
on main RB I can see:
Addresses: 192.168.0.1/24, 192.168.178.101/24
Brige: Wifi-Bridge
Routes: 0.0.0.0 Gateway 192.168.187.1 reachable ether1
192.168.0.0/24 wifi bridge reachable
192.168.178.0/24 ether1 reachable
Private WAN:
172.26.33.8/29 my IPs
172.26.33.9-13 available
172.26.33.14 RB antenna SXT
Netmask: 255.255.255.248
Broadcast: 172.26.33.15
gateway is 172.26.33.251
I tried to add a Route 172.16.0.0/12 on ether10 but that hasn't helped yet.
