RB2011UiAS-2HnD wireless clients keep disconneting

Fri Aug 05, 2016 12:00 am

Hello,

I have a serious issue with this router since I have put the original ISP modem into bridge mode and am using this mikrotik router as ADSL modem in wisp ap mode . I do not know if that is related with the bridge mode that was changed but currently it is unusable in this state. Wifi clients connect and after 30 seconds just disconnect. Firmware is the latest stable 6.36.

bunch of these errors in log
C4:6E:1F:3A:A0:D2@wlan1: disconnected, extensive data loss

Please help as it drives everyone crazy!

Let me know if you need more info?

Thnx!

Have you turned on the debug logging for the wireless? What is the disconnect reason?
How the firewall and NAT configured?
How is the bridge configured?
You are going to have to give a lot more detail before you can get any help.

Not sure if it's relevant, but using "WISP AP" mode sounds wrong. I don't have much experience with QuickSet, but I'd assume that in WISP AP mode wireless settings might not be the best ones for a typical indoor use. Try switching to "Home AP" mode.
