Help on my RB2011uias-2hnd-in configuration

Wed Aug 24, 2016 2:52 am

Hi to all,

Could someone help me configuring my rb2011uias-2hnd-in to the below specification. I got 3 subnet (1 subnet per port) currently configured (port 2, 3,and 4 are not in sLAVE) and a 15Mbps DL/2Mbs UL DSL connection (port 1). I'm sharing the connectivity with my relative via AP.

Download 15Mbps/Upload 2Mbps
|---------Port 2 (my LAN connection)
Games (Priority 1)
Browsing (Priority 2)
Download (Priority 4)
Streaming (Priority 5)
P2P (Priority 8 )

|---------Port 2 (1st AP)
Games (Priority 1)
Browsing (Priority 2)
Download (Priority 4)
Streaming (Priority 5)
P2P (Priority 8 )

|---------Port 2 (2nd AP)
Games (Priority 1)
Browsing (Priority 2)
Download (Priority 4)
Streaming (Priority 5)
P2P (Priority 8 )

Is this possible? Appreciate someone could shed a light on this kind of configuration. Thanks in advance.

First you have to identify and classify the different types of traffic using mangle rule and mark packet or connections based on that criteria. You can also depend on interface as your criteria.
Then you setup queue-tree for each outgoing interface, and or incoming traffic using the packet marks/connection marks setup in mangle rules and applying prioritization to each one.
There are plenty of examples / wikis on setting up QOS out there! 8) :)
