[SOLVED]Problem with RB153 + Compact Flash

Wed Nov 08, 2006 12:37 am

Hy all,
I have a problem with a RB153. I try to expand it with a 512MB kingston Compact Flash Card, but when I insert it on the RB153 slot, I lost all my settings. If i reinsert the settings (wireless mode, IP address, exc...) with the CF inserted, it goes all ok, but when I unplug the RB153 from the power source and re-plug it, all changes are lost again! I don't know how to made work correctly the RB153 with a CF card. Someone has the same problem?

Thanks

I have not. but it sounds like a volume mount issue.
I would suggest creating a SupOut file for each condition and send it to support. (make sure you describe the issue and clearly ID the SupOut files)

I'd like to know if the CF slot is for storage (with RouterOS) or only for firmware upgrade (without FTP).

Thanks
