Wierd problem.

Thu Nov 16, 2006 10:21 am

I have the wierdest problem with a RB532A..

It has been running as a simple NAT/FW, using one port to get public IP via DHCP. No Wireless. 2 other ports are bridged. Nothing else in configuration that matters.. Have been running stable for 3-4 months.

Suddently it crashed, all dead, even bridge stopped working. If i reboot it it comes up until it gets the public IP, then it dies again. However if i disconnect the public interface so it doesnt get IP from ISP, i can do everything i want with it.. I did a factory reset and reconfigured everything, also tried to change the public port to rule out the physical interface.. Same issue.. Guess its broken, i just havent seen this kind of broken RB before :-) Firmware is 2.9.34, but it has been running V3Beta1, still without any issues...

Anyone seen this before?
