RB951G / 6.36.3 / Huawei E3531

Hello

According to 6.36 changelog, Huawei E3531 3G USB dongle is now supported.
So i get one and plug it into a RB951G-2hnd and.. nothing happens, no lte showing, nothing particular in logs. ROS 6.36.3, with lte subpackage installed (or not, same result). Is there any trick ?

Note: it's a Swisscom-branded dongle, maybe they have modified it, not sure..

hi

Have you tried updating to v6.37 or v6.37rc42 ?
Also after updating(including the firmware), try to completely power off the device then power it back on.
Then test/check if you are able to connect/configure.

Well i'm having some trouble with 6.37 currently due to the changes they made in wireless packages, so I didn't try yet. Thanks for the info anyway, i'll have a look when 6.37 will become more stable.

Hi to all. I have RB2011UiAS router. And I'm trying to connect 3g Modem Huawei E3531. The issue is when I just connected modem to router it's shows up in system/resources/usb and in interfaces like lte1, but after few minutes it's disappears from interfaces and from USB menu.
Firmware version: 3.33
RouterOS version: 6.37.3
Is there some fix for that bug?
