how to limit p2p traffic with hotspot simple queues?

Tue Nov 21, 2006 8:55 pm

Hi everybody

I have a 4Mbps leased line shared among 200 active suscribers

The hotspot script automatic generates:

· 1 simple queue per connected user (PCQ 192 kbps, rate 0, limit 50, total limit 200, clasified by src address a dest address)
· 1 general simple queue per hotspot server (PCQ unlimited, rate 0, limit 50, total limit 200, clasified by src address a dest address)

I need to know how can i limit al p2p traffic together with the last 2 rules and get a 128 Kbps rate per user (aprox 4 to 1 oversuscription) and no one get more resources than the others.

Is PCQ the better oner for this ?

Any tip will be helpful.
