We are to design and install a Wi-Fi solution for a hotel, with approx 70 cAP 2n access points.

Now, the whole guest network will be on same SSID, and there is no requirement for charging the wifi usage (its free for all guests) but the owner wants to be able to create multiple temporary usernames with expiration periods according to guest's stay in hotel. That is, if a guest registers for a two day stay, hotel staff should be able to create a temporary wifi user/pass with expiry period of two days. Also, the guest should be able to use the same username on several devices (phone, tablet, laptop).

I believe that CAPSMAN and Guest Manager should be capable of providing those functionalities. I do not need any tutorials on how to do it, we will figure it out with tutorials and manuals available later on, for now i just need a confirmation that it can be done with Mikrotik (CAPSMan and Guest Manager).


Also, i have tried to find download link for guest manager, but there is none. Is it included in RouterOS package itself, or is it installed separately?

believe, you're aiming for User Manager, which is part of any zipped all_packages...... file per RouterOS version and hardware architecture (except ARM - currently).
This package has to be installed (drag&drop on device) separately.

Generally spoken, CAPsMan and User Manager should do the trick, I'd suggest evaluating all current requirements against actual features
