Mon Nov 27, 2006 5:20 pm

Hi i'm Dnaiel and i have a few Router Board 112 's and i want to upgrade them to vertion 2.9.38, i'v seen on the microtik webpage that you have to set it to boot up on the ethernet and then it should show up in netinstall, but it doesnt say anywere how to get into the options to set the boot drive!!!! I'm new to these boards and i would like to be able to understand them a little more.

Hope someone can help me

Both are well documented. routerboard.com for the boot options and mikrotik.com for netinstall and winbox.

Also try the forum search feature. :)

No! Why do you guys always find the most difficult ways. Drag and drop will suffice. Or FTP: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Upgrading_RouterOS

You can't drag and drop without Winbox. In this case, the manual needs to be read.
