InterVlan routing on different ports

Sat Nov 19, 2016 5:35 pm

Hi all,

My configuration:

Cisco SG200-26
PORT 1,2,3 TRUNK,CAN CARRY ALL VLANS,TAGGED
All other ports are access ports on VLAN 10,20,30,40

RB450G
PORT 2 HAS VLAN 10,
PORT 3 has VLAN 20
PORT 4 has VLAN 30,40
so basically all 3 ports are trunk ports. No bridges.

Ethernet cables connects
PORT 1 of Cisco, with PORT 2 of RB
PORT 2 of Cisco, with PORT 3 of RB
PORT 3 of Cisco, with PORT 4 of RB

Clients from cisco switch can communicate each other and they all can reached their gateway in RB according to their VLAN.

InterVlan routing works fine on PORT 4,vlan 30 can communicate with VLAN 40.

But I want all vlans to be able to reach others! Is it possible without putting all vlans in one PORT?

Everything vlan has it's on subnet and gateway of course..

Thnks for the hello!

You shouldn't have to put all VLANs on one port. Check for spanning tree issues, perhaps spanning tree thinks the other links are redundant and is disabling them, if they are not working on the VLAN level.
