Need more powa! RB2011UiAS-IN speed issues

Wed Nov 30, 2016 4:44 am

So I have a RB2011UiAS-IN. Today I got gig connectivity installed. I have 10 firewall rules and max out at 250/250 @ 100% cpu. Can I squeeze anymore out of this? What you recommend for gig connections?

You've been around here long enough to know exactly which model you need. You're just boasting about your new 1Gb connection.

Congrats & enjoy! :-)

haha. no quite. I plugged a rb3011 in to test, and hit full capacity @ %40 load.

I was just checking if there was a way to get more out of the rb2011 as we have a lot of these in the field. New Zealand is doing a huge push on fibre and 1gbp plans are becoming very cheap.

With the help of fasttrack you should be able to reach speeds close to 1G (or at least significantly better then your current 250M).
