Greetings!

In my searching I can't seem to find what I need.

I was called to sort out network problems by a company I've worked with before that does whole house AV & Automation. I installed a RB750GL, a new 16 port (dumb) switch, & 3 OM MR1750v2 APs. Everything is working fantastic except the multiple Apple TVs in the house seem to pop in and out of sight on the network. All the Apple TVs are wired. That being said, I've still checked settings on the APs and all seems to be in order. I am much less experienced with might of the RouterBoard. I only did a very minimal setup on the RB. What am I missing/not doing right? Is there a chance it isn't the RB that is the issue?

Fiber -> RB750GL -> switch -> everything else
I know next to nothing about the automation system. Everything in the house can be run from an iPad mini.

It's hard to give you any definite answers on this, however it's unlikely to be the router since I assume the Apple TVs are disappearing on the local network?
Assuming you aren't using multiple LANs the router will not be involved in this communication.

What does it mean to pop in and out? You might want to check the settings of the ATV's and that even when off they are still under AC current.. Otherwise sure, they disappear...

Very good point, it is going through the switch. I'm going to look at the APs being the culprit again (due to the control module - iPad Mini - being wireless).

A couple will show up in the control software for a moment and then disappear, only for a couple of different ones to show. You never see all at the same time. I've gotten more info since yesterday and am convinced it is a wireless problem.

There is a Luxel outdoor AP still in place that, when connected with the iPad Mini, all Apple TVs show up like they are supposed to.
