I can`t log in to the Mikrotik

Good evening,
kindly assist me, i can`t log in to the net metal 5, 2.4ghz outdoor which i want to configure.
I can ping the default IP 192.168.88.1, but when i want to log inside the radio through winbox, it given me error: could not connect to 192.168.88.1.
I tried to reset it to factory default through reset hardware, but i could not. Please i need your help.

Have you tried using WinBox?

Try logging in with mac address instead of IP address using winbox. You may as well try the later versions of winbox.

Try logging through mac address, using winbox. If problem persists, check about some issues here http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=36156.

If you're using SO Windows, try run winbox as Administrator.
If you have Virtual Box, try disable the virtual interfaces.

Hi, I have nearly the same problem, but connecting through WinBox is possible. Are any of the LEDs on? If not, then first reset the Groove. After this, it should be possible to connect by WinBox.

But now it's unclear, what we can do in the router settings to enable connecting by the browser with the Ip.
