Can someone help me with this problem please. We have a Mikrotik router in front of a high speed ADSL service with Web Proxy enabled. This appears to work fine and generate 10Mbps download speeds.

The issue is that with the Web proxy enabled the upstream connection rises to around 10% of the downstream rate. So for a 10Mbps connection we are consuming nearly 1Mb of upstream capacity. Without the proxy enabled this is less than 5%. As we are constrained on upstream this is an issue.

I suspect the problem is to do with the TCP Receive Window size on the Mikrotik. Can anyone confirm if this is the case and whether there is anything I can do about this
