For two reason:
- the simpliest: there's lower noise on 5800 than 5500;
- your antenna is not correctly adapted to 5500.

Why ? No other 5ghz equipment in area ( lab test )
- your antenna is not correctly adapted to 5500.
We have tested without antenna , on lab.

For precision:

5500 -94db
5520 -95db
5560 -96db
5600 -98db
5660 -101db
5700 -102db

Any suggestion or experience ?

i see that too, so i thought that ubiquity made its cards for US use primary (5.7Ghz) and operating from 4.9-6.1 Ghz as atheros chipset. As you know amplifiers work best @ certain freq, so 400mw is just another LNA over atheros reference design.

Thank's. We set our BTS on 5.7. In Italy only the freq range 5.4-5.7 are autorized for 1watt of power.

But 8 db of sensibility is a great difference ........

Bye

p.s. Is same issue with SR2 ?
