LAN Speed

Wed Mar 22, 2017 4:50 pm

I have 3 different subnets configured in routerboard RB1100AHx2 as
192.168.0.1/23
192.168.200.1/24
192.168.100.1/24
I also have 3 different wan connections (if one link is down another takes over)
file copy between all local lan ip is very slow. Any solutions guys??

Thanks in advance

Hello,
You should check if Simple Queues are limiting your connection speed. You can do so by checking traffic tab in your simple queue configuration.

If so, you should add one more simple queue with target and destination addresses and give a higher limit, possibly 1000Mbps.

Try to create a new simple queue on top of all other simple queues with target 192.168.0.0/16 and destination 192.168.0.0/16 and set higher max limit and limit-at values.
Make sure to place this new queue on top of all other queues.

/queue simple
add dst=192.168.0.0/16 max-limit=1G/1G name=LAN queue=ethernet-default/ethernet-default target=192.168.0.0/16
the reason you having issues is your limits are being imposed on you lan traffic. place this rule above all your other rules and simple queues are applied in order.
