Guys,
We manage about 75 Mikrotiks. We have about 15 CCR1009, 55 RB2011s, and the remaining being split among AH1100x2 and rb750 and CRS switches
I have to update all of them from time to time, but I also want to thoroughly test the versions before using them.
I have a script which can update RouterOS and firmware automatically if I wish. However it pulls from Mikrotik and always pulls the latest version, which is not always the best for us.
I also know that Mikrotiks can be setup using the Auto Upgrade function to look at a central Mikrotik as an update source. The idea is that we can test new versions, and then publish them to this central mikrotik and within a week, all the other mikrotiks will update themselves.
The questions are these: Can I use a CCR 1009 as an update source for all the other mikrotiks, even if their CPU architecture is different? or do I have to setup a central source for each architecture?
