SXTsq Lite5 - from the photos I can't see how it would be stable when mounting on a circular cross section pole using a hose clamp. There is no curved bracket like the old design that would stop it rotating. Not convinced.

Not sure what you mean, there is a triangular wedge that sticks to the pole. To allow for free adjustment, we do offer separately a pole to flex adapter, the QuickMount pro:

Does MikroTik plan to produce base stations in range of 6.1-6.4 GHz?
Client devices 6GHz produce, but there are no base stations.

Not sure what is Microtics, but MikroTik has not yet revealed such plans.

I understand the need to obtain a license in the US, but I believe the hardware has to be approved by the FCC also. My question related to that. Has the FCC approved the DynaDish 6 for use in the US?

This problem (Antenna gain unit "no" or without unit) is present on multiple spec sheets on the website.
Better check them all...

I think the design of Mikrtotik could be a lot better. You don't need to be the cheapest. Being cheap keeps your gear out of our DCs.

I personally don't think that's what is being asked.

I hate to prod and poke, but I see the MPLS forwarded via hardware in the future. Is that a far future thing? Like an ROS 7 thing? Or should we expect it before.

Also, is it only going to be for MPLS? Longest prefix match will not be hardware accelerated right?

I think you know quite well that's not what im saying. Adding a hot swap PSU is not going to quadruple the price of the switch.
You make great gear, but poor design choices IMO. You create 'carrier class' gear, without hotswap. It just doesn't work.
Maybe the answer is you do make some high end $1599 gear. You might be surprised how many people take it up. Your CCR's cost nearly $1500NZD and we have a lot of those.

Sorry, but prices don't work that way. Some parts are more expensive and complicated than others. Look at the price of a single PSU from our hot-swap rackmounts:

That is only one of the two power supplies. The board itself has a lot of parts, the case is different etc.

First everyone asks to use internal powersupplies instead of external powerbricks, and when it has been done
they ask for hotswap powersupplies
Maybe go back to having external powerbricks supplying 24V to the unit, they can be hot swapped and even
can be replaced by other means of supplying 24V... (e.g. an isolated 48-to-24 V DC-DC converter)

In any case. Thanks for the suggestion, we will consider hot-swap dual power supplies for another model, most likely it will be higher price class.

Or what about CRS328-48S-4S+RM Need More Fiber ports with decent ratio on uplink.
1:1 as in 10s-1s+ is good but it's to expensive per port and takes up to much space with to little work done. 1U is expensive in telecom cabins.

Speaking of power over ethernet (not mt passive stuff) standards stuff there are more then many to chose from. But fiber (broadband to everyone) there is a vacume. Either all fiber only switches are to dumb, to expensive, to warm draw to much power....
Here Mikrotik have a gap to fill witch we who use mikrotik would love to see this would give us an edge over the others bringing better services faster at a more reasonable price.

I really Need to have more info about ( CRS328-24P-4S+RM ), what is the suggested price for distributors?, total Throughput, max users handling, ..etc.
Do you have a plan to produce a 16P-2S+ version , this will decrease the cost and offer more flexibility option from MT.
Also can we suggest some new feathers for this product like making it's default configuration as VLANs groups ?.

It would be great to see all rack mount CCR's and CRS's have replaceable power supplies. Mikrotik could ship with either no PSU's installed, or a single AC PSU installed to keep the "sticker price" low.

This would mean Mikrotik products would be usable in a larger range of industries, e.g. we could use CRS317 or CRS328 in roadside cabinets with a -48volt PSU installed...
