Sharing Bandwidth between 2 locations

Sun Aug 20, 2017 10:07 pm

Hi there,

Kindly have a look into the below diagram, I am stuck with a situation. I have 100 Mbps bandwidth available at point A, whereas 50 Mbps Bandwidth available at Point B. Point A was already serving the point B, Now I want to SEND the point B bandwidth to Point A for management via PtP link created between 2 locations using UBNT Rocket M5 with 32dBi dish antennas. We are having lack of Bandwidth at point A, but unfortunately no more bandwidth available at Point A, so got another link from my ISP at Point B. Now how to send it to point A and manage it their for rest of clients and resend it back to Point B.

Hi,

What is the max throughput on the UBNT link?
It is giving me stable 90Mbps tx / rx in good weather, whereas during rain it drops to approx 75 Mbps to 80 Mbps.

Thanks @BartoszP but the problem is this that as per ECMP configuration, I have 1 point out of 2 points, which is also serving the customers at that site. The purpose of bringing BW to core side is this that if main link fails the traffic can be shifted to secondary link, or some of the clients can be natted to the secondary link. In above example of ECMP the router is getting bandwidth from 2 different locations on wireless, and in my case router also need to send back the traffic to that specific area customers.

IF WE CREAT VLANS FROM ROUTER TO ROUTER DOEST IT WORK IN THIS CASE ?
