I'm using CRS226-24G-2S+ in a diskless (ISCSI) environment,
along with TP link SG2452, to be used with 28 cybercafe clients and 30 gamecenter clients
Diskless Cafe is using Intel 10G NIC X520-DA1, with NVME gamedisk, image and SSD writeback.
Diskless Gamecenters is using Intel Quad NIC.
There is also a NAS server that communicates only with Cafe clients with SMB port.
The NAS server is already limited with QOS rule to suppress the SMB traffic..
I tested it and client only got roughly 10-15 MBps when copying files.
Problem is, the cafe clients experience connection issues when it's full or almost full.
Such as long initial boot times, random restarts, internet connection gone (marked with x on tray LAN icon)
I noticed CRS 226 spikes up cpu usage, 70-100% when connection issues occur.
i suspect this is the cause of the issues...
I'm using the CRS as a plain dumb switch, no rules or anything,
Infact i installed winbox and upgraded to latest firmware right after i encountered connection issues..
But the issues still persist
Here's my network topology :
Do i need to replace the CRS with something else?
Or is there anything i can do to reduce the cpu usage?
