Powerbox Pro overloaded

Tue Nov 21, 2017 6:22 pm

Four .5 amp devices, powers on with one, overloads with more than one. 150ft run.

In the past the original Powerbox was corrected with the "set long ether1" command.

What are we supposed to do with the Powerbox Pro?

This is the second or third time I've run into this with a client or colleague. Makes me more than a little hesitant to buy one vs the original. I've got a lot of the original out there running the same or heavier load without issue.

You power the powerbox via a 150ft UTP feed (PoE) and then connect 4 devices of .5A each to the outputs?
So 2A incoming over the UTP feed?
