I am having issues with PPPoE and my access point so I decided to give hotspot a try. I like the hotspot much better because it is easier for the client to use but I have some questions.
Can I have hotspot logoff a user from a session if they are signed in on another computer?
Can Hotspot be used for gamers (x-box live users) or users behind a wireless router like a linksys? for example... If a user connects his transparent bridge (Our Modem) to his Linksys router can I get the linksys to logon to hotspot somehow? Or will hotspot see everything coming from the MAC of the linksys if the client is using multiple devices behind the linksys so that the user can use a computer from behind the linksys to logon once to hotspot to get his session started then ever other device will just be seen as coming from the MAC of the linksys so he only has one session to hotspot?
I just need some help with this. I'd rather not have to add every gamers x-boxs MAC to hotspot. Some way to automate this would be great!
