Issue with PPTP VPN

Fri Jan 12, 2018 1:34 pm

Hi Guys,
I am having a strange issue.
I have 2 identical Mikrotiks 3011.

Router ONE

I have 2 WAN interface (Port 1 used ) and working okay
This router is a PPTP Server)

Router TWO

I have 3 WAN interfaces configured and used
I have setup PPTP client
I can see VPN gets connected
I can ping all IPs from both ROUTER's terminal okay
I can ping all IPs from Router ONE LAN for ROUTER TWO
I can ping all IPs from Router TWO's terminal for Router ONE
I CANNOT ping any IP from any workstation / server from ROUTER TWO for ROUTER ONE

ROUTER TWO has multiple interfaces configured
The LAN in questions is configured on Port10 and has IP of 192.168.155.0/24

When I torch the VPN PPTP-OUT, I don't see anything. (when constant ping running on a workstation)
When I torch PORT 10, I can see it hitting the router (ping fails on the workstation)

All NAT and Masquerade rules are in place.

what could it be ?

Thanks in advance.

Had almost similar issue... check your firewall filters and see if there are any limitation on the LAN communications.

I would double check your routes.
