How to get access to SXT5 again?

Hi,

I have lost access to a SXT5. Winbox show the device in neighbours by
it's MAC address but will not connect to it.

What can I do to get access again?

Use the valid login and password. If you do not know it, you need to reset the device and use default admin with blank password.

mac-telnet from another MikroTik device or there is source code that will compile on Linux. You can recover anything as long as the interface is set up for mac-server on the non responsive device.

Use the valid login and password. If you do not know it, you need to reset the device and use default admin with blank password.

Of course I know the correct login credentials.. this is not the problem... If password / username was incorrect then winbox would tell me...
Reset to defaults is an easy solution, but not the 1st wished solution...

How do I MAC telnet from another MT device please?

I didn't mention that the device shows 0.0.0.0 as it's AP address...

He said that Winbox showed an error when he try to connect by MAC.

If you can't connect by MAC, there isn't another option. Unfortunately, you need to reset and lost all configurations.

Thanks Leandro, it seems that sometimes reading isn't as easy as it looks like :)
Indeed WInBox gave me an error...

I gave up and did a factory reset.
Everything is back to normal now.

I didn't read it that way. Said he couldn't connect with Winbox even though he sees a MAC. Not that he specifically tried by MAC with Winbox.

It's kinda funny how english is being changed by people who didn't learn english as their first language. It's the way of the world I guess.

Funny how people just guess if I tried something or not... :)
And yes, indeed English is not my native language, I am just a bloody Dutchman... :)
