Wpa2 Enterprise client

Thu Nov 23, 2017 9:51 am

I would like to know if it's possibile to use a Mikrotik Ap (e.g. RBGrooveA-52HPnr2) as a WPA2 enterprise CLIENT, the AP's are cisco 2802.
If it's possible i would like to use it as a transparent bridge, the ap should automatically send preprogrammed credentials to the cisco Ap's when connecting without interaction from the connected device (a PLC).

Thanks

Which WPA2-EAP method you need to use as a client?

Our work has WPA2 Enterprise. Some equipment does not support this. We also have users with XBox One who likes to connect to the Wifi net, but since it does not support WPA2 Enterprise, they can not connect.

Using a Mikrotik in between would solve this. Set up the Mikrotik box to connect to wifi using username and password (WPA2 Enterprise). Configure it as a switch/bridge, then connect the Xbox and other equipment to the Ethernet ports.
