Move cursor over device and you will see your Note.
This is configurable under: Settings --> Map --> Tooltip
Thank you!

please enable the dude to connect to routeros devices on other than the default port (eg. multiple devices on different winbox-ports or multiple devices behind one nat-gateway and portmapping active); connecting to those boxes via winbox is done using ip:port but the dude does not allow this, specifying ports for polling works, but that's no enough for the dude to get successfull routeros management active. (please correct me if I'm wrong )

+1For sure all of us want to schedule upgrading routerOS at a low usage time... And upgrade routerboot also...
See, this will actually cause some issues, especially when someone has multiple sites/networks connected via different methods/devices. Specifying single IP for all traffic seems like limiting current functionality. (currently, Dude uses best IP per each device/probe based onOption Bind Dude server to an IP address on router for all probes and outgoing traffic.
/ip route
Why?Mikrotik is not able to do anything with dude now.
@Masyanich I have solved this by using "static" element(s) between two devices. That way I can do non-straight lines as well as multiple lines between two devices.* Multiple connections between two devices, why is it limited to one? For example, how to monitor multiple physical etherchannel connections?
I agree with that. If we change the default winbox port, in The Dude, we lost the info in Devices >> RouterOS tab. Will be nice to custom port and maintain management.please enable the dude to connect to routeros devices on other than the default port (eg. multiple devices on different winbox-ports or multiple devices behind one nat-gateway and portmapping active); connecting to those boxes via winbox is done using ip:port but the dude does not allow this, specifying ports for polling works, but that's no enough for the dude to get successfull routeros management active. Unpin this thread and make a new one for Dude v7
I think it makes a lot of sense to make a new Feature request list for v7. This thread is too huuuuuge, I think nobody not even Mikrotik support remembers everything written here. Also this thread is from 2013. Many early posts are by now probably moot or otherwise invalid. Also most posters probably don't even remmber what they wrote.Unpin this thread and make a new one for Dude v7
Make it sense?
I think that nothing was implemented from the mentioned suggestions in the v6 and hope it will be done in v7.
And now we have v6 and v7 is in progress, so we need for some period of time to maintain information for both versions. And in such a case it will be like to maintain two similar copies.
You are right, where did I get 2013 from? Probably from v6 release date. This thread is from 2017 after Dude v6 was released. All stuff in the first post is valid for Dude v6 and for v7.
You feature request was already addressed and discussed in at least two separate posts and also in this thread:
This post was created to organize all requests and to not flood forum with repeated requests. As we don't have any access to the Mikrotik bug/feature tracker we did it for them here.
I gotta say that this is highly disappointing. Here is an official statement about the current development of the Dude.
Normis - 10.02.2022:
"We have not done work on the Dude for some time now. If it works for you, great, you can use it. But there is no active development on the Dude at the moment. It may resume in the future, it's not known."
Already in v7.2+When can we may expect The Dude server in v7?

Sorry, but is not under active development. Please make DUDE server list resizable:
What? Now we are at v7.9 and Dude is v7.9 too, so where is problem? This list is UserVoice style, right?Sorry, but is not under active development. Please make DUDE server list resizable:
I can't say, I'm not programmer :/What does it take to write %currentversion% instead of... %currentversion% and recompile?
Sorry, I mean that the version is always inserted as the same number of the main version, but the code is untouched, is just the version number that change.....I can't say, I'm not programmer :/
Ok, new info for me.Sorry, I mean that the version is always inserted as the same number of the main version, but the code is untouched, is just the version number that change.....I can't say, I'm not programmer :/
In what tool did you draw this map?Going to shamelessly link to a couple of my feature requests

I would also like to request better device linkages. Being able to move the location that the link connects to on the device, being able to give a smooth curve or rigid angle to a link, moving the device label on the link. Pretty much anything that can keep me from needing to do this.
