What's new in v2.7:

*) Make some of Mikrotik DAC work in 10G mode;
*) Make SwOS work with MS Internet Explorer 11;
*) Fixed switch lockup if it was restored with specifically corrupted backup file;

This SwOS version also contains improvements for CSS326/CRS326 transmit performance from SFP+ to Ethernet ports.

What about IGMP snooping broken in 2.5 and 2.6?

Haven't had any issues so far
Tested SFP to SFP - 9.11Gbit in iperf vs 8.xx in 2.4
Tested SFP to Ethernet - 940Mbit
All my DVR/TV functionality, shield TV devices, netflix, plex, etc don't seem to have any issues.

Not using much more functionality that a semi dumb switch.

German IPTV (Entertain TV, MR401/201) still not working at all with this SwOS version (CSS326). No IGMP v3.

Latest usable version is 2.4 (with packet flood on all ports due to missing IGMP)

Please implement IGMP v3 in next update. Thanks.

I have hap ac ( router os 6.41) + rb 260gs (sw os 2.7) running together. If i connect TV directly to the router IPTV works great. But it doesn't work through switch with igmp snooping enabled. I heard that rb 260gs does't support IGMP snooping, It is actual information for now? Or maybe i need to change some settings on switch (now it's mostly on default - only igmp snooping option is enabled). I don't really want to lay another cable to the TV.

Disable IGMP Snooping to fix your IPTV issue.

In interface, only 2.6 is mentioned as available, why?

Can anyone confirm that disabling "IGMP snooping" on 2.7 solves all IPTV issues?
My IPTV works only on 2.4 (not 2.5, 2.6).

I tried Version 2.7 on CSS326 and it did not work with or without IGMP snooping enabled. No IPTV possible using german Telekom MR401/201 receiver connected to the switch.
Receiver connected to Router (FritzBox) works as long as IGMP snooping is disabled.
Same with SwOS 2.5 and 2.6. Went back to 2.4...
Maybe IGMP is not implemented on CSS326. CSS326 is not mentioned in change log for version 2.5 and newer.

Switch OS 2.7 displays no hosts anymore because of a javascript error:

CSS326 can only perform SwitchOS, CRS326 can perform SwitchOS [i]or[/i] RouterOS

I want to know the same thing. Is Mikrotik aware that SwOS switches break IPTV since 2.5? It does not matter if the IGMP snooping checkbox is on or off - if I switch the channel on the TV the picture becomes black. When I restart the switch or wait a very long time, the picture is restored. V 2.4 does not have IGMP snooping and IPTV works but apparently IPTV traffic is propagated to every port on the switch.

In the LAG table I configured the static mode, for each aggregation I assigned a number 1,2,3 but when I connect the hp switchs the id of the trunk is always 1 and the switches become unreachable.

Sorry, its nice to see new features, and IGMP snooping on switch like this, but where did the uptime display go ? Its useful in debug on remote locations.

So far no multicast in 2.7 (RB260GS).

In regards to the IGMP discussion with the CSS326 & SwOS 2.7, I too need to know more information regarding it's IGMP/Multicast feature support. I have seen where IGMP support was included and it does appear to be working for us. I have several multicast channels hitting the up link port (24) and see 24Mbps in the Stats tab. For each STB connected to an individual port, I only see the ~5Mbps being flooded to that specific port as it should be based on the multicast channel the STB is tuned to. However, to get this to work, on the upstream switch, which is a Cisco configured with pim sparse-mode, I had to issue static-group IGMP join statements. Simply tuning the STB up/down would not "join" the channel. Is there any deeper detail on the IGMP processing that the CSS326 and the SwOS 2.7?

I can mirror the port and collect packet captures if needed.

I've made a jump from 4.17 to 5.20 on an RB433 and bricked it 140ft in the air. It required a bootloader update that I didn't apply as I skipped that version. Netinstall brought it back, but I'd rather prevent such issues by asking first in this case.

It is not possible to install SwOS version v2.X on devices with SwOS v1.xx due to hardware differences.

I've just bought CSS106-1G-4P-1S. Upgraded it immediately to 2.7.

Problem: it auto-negotiates 100Mbit Full to the following devices:

• CAP ac

• SXT Lite5 ac

• Samsung TV

All of them are 1Gbit Full rated. Forcing it does not help.

Auto-negotiate works fine (1Gbps) for the following:

• SXTsq 5 ac

• Laptops

What is going on? This is NOT a cable/RJ45 issue as I have tested everything (direct cable, cable via socket, CAT6, Cat5e, shielded, non shielded, 3cm, 5m etc..)

Can I power up an IP camera that supports 802.3 af or 802.3 bt from the css326 switch?

For me BCS camera don't work. I see current too low.
