Hi,

Got a problem with my CCR1016-12S-1S+:
After an upgrade of RouterOS, my router became inaccessible.

It doesn't matter if I use a SFP Fiber or an S-RJ01.

When I connected via serial it displays:
loading kernel... kernel not found or data is corrupted
Please, check ethernet cable

One thing I notice when it booting up is that none of the LED for the SFP-ports is lighting up.
So when I try to use netinstall it won't recognize my router.
So I can't reinstall RouterOS

But my computer recognizes that it has an eth-cable connected to it.

I use an S-RJ01.

Is my router a lost cause?

its bricked. Do like the console tell you to. Press a key after maximun 2 sec to access the boot menu. Then choose netboot - and netinstall via your computer.

Tried to but the SFP-port led doesn't even turn on to indicate that something is in it.

actualy i have not tried netboot this. What do the screen tell you if you press a key? Maybe you need to install the https://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/tilegx_3.41.fwf via console cable.

Please learn how to read manual correctly.
