Hi guys

I have a site which has a CCR fibre linked to a unifi poe switch which then daisy chains to another 3 poe switches.

I have had several vlans running on there for a year now with no issue. Today I went on site to terminate cables for a newly built office that will be rented out and did the following:

Set up a new vlan with a fresh vlan id and attached it to the correct sfp port (only 1 port is in use at the moment, excluding the wan port)

Gave the vlan an IP address

Gave DHCP to the vlan using the DHCP Setup tool

Configured the network in the unifi controller with the appropriate gateway/subnet and vlan ID

Set port 47 on switch 1 to only use that vlan profile

Plugged the terminated link into port 47 on switch 1

Plugged my laptop in on the other end...........nothing.

I switched port 47 over to the other vlan profiles and each one worked perfect but as soon as i put it back on to the new vlan I get nothing. I double, triple and quadruple checked all the details, checked the new vlan details against the other vlans details for every step, deleted the vlan and all associated settings and redid them all with new vlan id and new ip range etc, but still the same thing.

At this point all I can think of is power cycling the CCR and all the switches this evening and trying again tomorrow.

Can you think of anything I may have missed?
