Sorry. I sow such hole for the first time...

I have hundreds of routers... And... now i see now way. except... allow only right IPs to manage through 8291, and drop everything else! And disable all other ports.

I was too innocent to belive in "best router" - mikrotik... (

And everyone HAVE to go such way!!! Wishing to all!!!

There is no BEST anymore...

@fbslim: We have all wishes and Mikrotik is working in all areas to have not horible surprises like this again. Work with us and test the update with different types and hardware revisions before you role it out on a wider scale.

For devices connected to a network/internet it is better to give security a higher priority that features.

2. Upgrade RouterOS, with button "Check for updates"
3. Change your password after upgrading
