Hi all !
Recently bought a hAP AC2 to replace my old N66 . The system is very fast and work very well , except the USB power off issue .
I'm using a Huawei E8372 LTE Dongle as the internet modem . Usually I'll switch off the dongle at night . As there is no USB power off function ,
according to other users information , I used the USB power reset command instead . And the command is :
/system routerboard usb power-reset duration=28800s
It turns the USB power off for 8 hours , and the USB Dongle power is resumed after that , however , the LTE interface is gone .
No matter I re-plug the dongle or perform another USB power-reset , the LTE interface is still disappear . It only appear again after I reset the modem .
Later on , I found a tentative solution to resolve this situation . Disable the interface first and power off the LTE dongle . And the script is :
/interface disable lte
:delay 5
/system routerboard usb power-reset duration=28800s
Now the LTE interface can be found ! But is disabled . I have to enable the interface again before I can access the internet .
Is anyone face the similar problem before and successfully resolve the problem ? Please let me know how to correct this issue . Thanks very much !
Best regards
Kurz
