I have a CCR1036 running firmware 6.43.4. Currently, the router is configured as a PPTP client, with normal devices connecting directly to the Internet and specific devices routing via that VPN link using the source address routing mark + NAT masquerade. All of these are handled at the router level which works well, but each time I need to get on or off the VPN link, I'll have to get into the router configuration.

Would it be possible to create a virtual gateway, say 192.168.1.2, such that the traffic will pass through the VPN link when any device has specified that as the default gateway? I have tried to assign a private IP to the PPTP client interface but the address is not reachable.
