100% CPU Load on 2.9.42 ???

Hi...

I'm running hotspot on 2.9.42

I often get 100% CPU load

Does anybody experiencing the same problem as me ?

My concurrent user is about 100, I didn't have this problem when I was using 2.9.13

I'm using RB532

I have had the same problem, and that with less than 100 concurrent users!!

Let you try several tips as follows:

-on "Connection Tracking", TCP Established Time-out change from 1d to 01:00:00
-pls do not using many rules on mangle, nat, and/or filter
-pls do not activate modules on Mikrotik RouterOS you do not needed it

May help ...

yes, plus see if there is not too much traffic on your interfaces, or maybe a DoS attack:

also run check-installation to see whether some component has been damaged. it is not very likely but freak accidents happen. if something is damaged then just "downgrade" to the same version which reinstalls the files.

as an example i've had the snmp module crashing on me due to data corruption (bad flash) and it will then (afaict) restart the snmp module endlessly, which is to be expected if a module somehow crashes.
