Fri May 04, 2007 1:44 pm

Hi

My name’s Davide Cocco ,I’m a student in electronic engineering in University of Cagliari(Italy) and I work with router mikrotik for my thesis and I have these problems:

When I launch winbox I can’t access a lot of menu, for example menu: ip\address, so I can’t change ip\address of Ethernet interface(ether 1) which have ip address 0.0.0.0 and also the router disconnect every 30 seconds.

I hope in a your aid

Thanks

Davide

i think, you have ID just 'read-only' permission.
try login in with Mac-Telnet or Mac-Winbox when you have problem to check your status of your group ID.
that command excute type mac-telnet [CLI]:
/user print

when you try login in with ip address, your PC must same range subnet and netmask of your router address.

with mac-telnet or mac-winbox diffrence subnet is no problem
