Of course I want to use legitimal RouterOS I tried first with the free version so when it manages to make it walk, to buy the license. Because in the test if I can´t I format the disk I perhap I can loose the license. I think that buying the license, we contributed with the growth of which we used. All my node are legitimal Mikrotik!! And for this reason I'm doing the official training of Mikrotik. Sorry If I tried with another version, but was only to see if can I solve the problem and see what is happening!!!
Well continuing with the question of installing in a PC, I change the disk and wath say now is "Loading E" and stop. It could be an hour and will be in the same point.

Don't know what 'Loading E' problem is, but you can just download the CD-image for PC, write with Nero or something, boot with it and install. It takes about an incredible time-consuming 2 minutes..
I'd suggest you check if you have an up to date Bios version on your MB or just clear bios (CMOS) on MB (take out battery first), set to boot from CD and go.

You can run it for 24hours (time switched of doesn't count) which should give you enough time to test. If it isn't, just format & install again. By the way, you don't lose your license if you format, you can just apply the same license as it's linked to the HDD. Only when you swop the HDD do you need to get another license(you can swop the MB no problem). In the past I had HDD that bombed & MT gave me a new license key, but I don't know if they'll still do it. Honest guys like me usually suffer from dishonest people that will abuse that type of goodwill to get extra licenses for 'free'.

But anyway, if your MB is ok and you don't have some strange chipset, you shouldn't have problems A.F.A.I.K... (Also have a look at IDE flash units with pre-installed ROS & license. You just plug it into your MB IDE port with no HDD and there you go. No HDD, only fan as moving parts. But only 128MB I think)

Biostart M6VLB what chipset is that? Have you tried some other MB with Intel or VIA chipset. I saw something sometime on MT website (I think)about supported chipsets for PC install.

don't worry friend, Mikrotik made easy for my network... and you can continue with your software ID:

- make sure your hardware is recommended
- download from mikrotik website [http://www.mikrotik.com/download.html] than install to your PC
- trial periode without entry key for 24 hours
- or request demo key, several time ago valid key around 4 months for.
- or will buy key as you want level 4, 5 or 6 for more features

just, you remember software ID isn't same key-license, when you want buy key. please, send mail to sales[at]mikrotik.com and software ID must attached.
i did do like above procedure, only one time installing, and continue with paste action when i have new key, a year ago

my pc router history:
my software ID was walking from trial -----> demo-key ----- > level 6 key.
it started one time install only with P-III500, 512SDRAM, Intel board, 80GHDD, RouterOS 6 level, and now action as centralized AAA and managemant users/bandwith and we had routerboards RB5xx all for wirelessly
