Running the SWOS 2.10 firmware upgrade on a internet connected CRS328-24P-4S+RM (SWOS 2.7 Fri Dec 15 2017 09:44:02) as advertised via its own webinterface leads to a newer 2.7p release but not the promised 2.10 release!

The "p" version of 2.7p is build at 09:44:16 instead of 09:44:02, however after the firmware upgrade/reboot the switch still advertises the 2.10 version as a available upgrade from its webinterface but it keeps installing the 2.7p version!

WORKAROUND:
Manually download the CRS328-24P-4S+RM SWOS 2.10 firmware file from the Website and browse&upload the file manually via webinterface and than perform the firmware upgrade.

For what it's worth, I just updated a CRS326-24G-2S+, two CSS326-24G-2S+, and a CSS106-5G-1S from 2.9 to 2.10 without incident. Watching pings to the CRS, I dropped three pings during the restart, and on both CSS326 switches, I dropped one ping during the restart.

i prefer to use RouterOS in CRS devices, a lot more management features, whit same switching features of SwOS

A fellow Mikrotik user confirmed to me that this SWOS upgrade loop behavior also happens on some of his cheaper line of switches like the new RB260GS(P), not the older ones which are SWOS 1.xx only! He even noticed the details of the firmware that was replaced with a slightly newer (different dated) version, but not the newest it advertises.

Since the FAN led is also going red sometimes reporting 0rpm but good temps, I will probably upgrade R.OS soon and may need your tips.

A personal RB260GSP "CCS106-1G-4P-1S" (firmware 2.7 Fri Dec 15 2017 09:42:48 GMT+0100 CEST) upgraded fine from its webinterface advertised 2.10 version, without any intermediate, older and or P versions.

Finally dared to make the upgrade on two CSS326. All seems to work fine so far and I must say it was very quick upgrade, it took like a couple of seconds in total for download, install and reboot until the switch was up and running again. This is actually the first time upgrading has been without hickups, good job MT!
