Securiing access to Mikrotik Router.

Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:39 am

Is it possible to dynamically block access attempts for a certain amount of times from an IP after a certain numbers of failures. I'd like to block input access to the MT if an IP fails 5 attempts at logon within a 5 minute period. After the account is locked out for 15 minutes I'd like to remove the block.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd imagine that this will involve scripting in some way but help or pointers in the right direction will help me.
