Iphone connecting issue.

Tue Mar 10, 2020 11:36 pm

Equipment;
LHG LTE Kit-US
Connected to a hAP lite at 1st. Set to PTP Bridge Mode
Then swaped the hAP lite for a Air cube. Set to bridge mode. Problem persist

Some Iphones and apple devices will connect, but some will not pass data. In particular 2 iPhone 10's and a macbook can connect to wifi, but not pass data. I have read a couple of possable solutions but don't understand them completely.

I saw that it may be the DHCP lease time and the solution would be to increase the lease time. Question is are you increasing the lease time on the apple device or the Mikrotik? If on the apple device, how?

I also saw that a solution might be " Use 'long' or 'both' preamble-mode and Mac wireless devices will be able to connect". Where do I find the preamble setting?

Thanks,

Lease time is configured in the DHCP server. It would surprise me if this is causing the problem.

Can you please share your configuration? Just make sure that there are no passwords in it...
