MIKROTIK seems to have no interest in new USB3 and SATA 6GBs (DELL R440 and R540) chipset drivers

We bought some R440 and R540 for PPPoE concentrators.
I tested the new CHR platforms with VMWARE, and the performance was very frustrating compared to dedicated physical machine.

I would love to have some hubs in reliable and new machines, however, RouterOS up to current version 6.46 does not have support for both SATA controllers for USB of these new machines.

Could anyone from Mikrotik pass a position on the future intention? can I wait for a possible update? or can i give up and move on to other solutions?

ROS 6.x is based on linux kernel 3.3 (or something). I don't think linux supported the modrrn features you're mentioning in year 2011. You are waiting for ROSv7, which is based on linux kernel version 4.14 (vintage 2017, current LTS version hence Mikrotik's choice). Or you can already try it, it's available for download, it might work nicely for you even though it's (early) beta.
