Things worked fine for me, but some were a bit slow.

“The Dude”, Dmitry Golubev took nearly 4 minutes to fully buffer.

Hotspot, Mobile networking, Butch Evans took 20 seconds

Hotspot, VPN, Mobile networking pt3 was around 25 seconds

Why don't you use Youtube.com as a server? I guess it's better solution (bandwidth) than hosting files on own server. Quality of the clips is... too low. I can't hear and see anything with details.

I think he's complaining about source quality, not your server which am sure is better.
No criticism intended, I think videos of MUM presentations an excellent idea.
Suggestion: future MUMs, get a high quality DVR/VCR on a tripod so you get really nice stable images.
Check lighting levels, is tricky because there is always a conflict between being able to see the LCD projector and enough light for the DVR image. Take along a couple of spotlights - you can adjust/overcome any inherent problems in the room lighting. Get either the DVR microphone closer to the speaker, or use an external mic.
Why not post the very best ones on Youtube as well, it's not a bad marketing strategy .. and free :-)

In that case, don't you think "amateur video" is better than "no video"?

We will certainly try to make our own videos from now on, and Youtube is actuall not so bad after all (they have improved lately). see this comparison:

http://www.tiktube.com/2007/06/21/high- ... mperature/

but the problem with youtube is 10minute and 100mb limitation. Maybe we can split them into parts.

I was trying to be constructive not critical - it's an excellent idea.
A few tips on making good videos from an expert (not me!) on the products/solutions could really help you.
Does Google Video have the same limitation on length? Personally I like that more than YouTube.
The other thing to do would be to edit down any gaps etc to make them shorter.
There is pretty decent, often free video editing software these days.
